We regularly take care of the launching of yachts and all kinds of other vessels on behalf of our customers. Recently, for example, we moved a brand-new yacht with a length of not less than 32 metres and a weight of 140 tonnes out of a hall and into the water. For this we used our 500- and 700-ton mobile telescopic cranes. With combined forces, they managed to get the job done.
Prior to this work, our fully specialised project management team prepared a suitable lifting plan for the customer. Due to the weight and size of the yacht, our two largest telescopic cranes were deployed. Also a suitable solution had to be found for moving the ship from the hall to the quay. For executing this task a modular platform was used.
