At M.J. van Riel, we are proud of very many things. However, the first thing that always comes to mind when asked to name one of our expertises is our skill at ‘lifting and hoisting’. This not surprising, since it forms the basis of our company. It is the work with which it all started more than 80 years ago and that we have constantly developed over the years since then.

Those of us who have ever been on a construction site or in a workshop where heavy equipment is being hoisted know that such a job entails much more than just the move itself. It is a supreme moment when many different disciplines come together. Therefore, it requires careful coordination. Transporting and handling the object concerned is really only the beginning, as every lifting and hoisting project is different and special because of the unique characteristics of the project location.
