The 205 tonne-metre truck-mounted crane had to be put in a special positioning last week, to place a 2.5-tonne residential unit on 25 metres of flight. The placement of dragline baffles and wedges, adjusted to the angle of inclination, made it possible to position the truck-mounted crane accurately level.
We proudly share the success of a recent logistics milestone: the successful completion of the transport of an impressive bridge from Hamont-Achel to Liège Belgium, provided by M.J. van Riel.
Christmas is once again upon us and so we celebrated it last Thursday together with all the people working at M.J. van Riel & Van Riel Forklifts, as well as our retired former employees. Laughing together, reminiscing and eating delicious food during our traditional Christmas market and then also receiving a voucher where we could put together our own Christmas gift. Those were the highlights of this evening.
At a location in Tilburg, M.J. van Riel carried out three assignments simultaneously.
M.J. van Riel was able to contribute to the installation of the first 34 houses (68 modules) in the Rosmolenbuurt in Zaandam.
Last Thursday, we assisted with the demolition of a portal crane in Stein (Limburg) with our 500-tonne telescopic crane and a 220-tonne telescopic crane.
Last Saturday, we transported a gantry no less than 84.5m long, making it currently the longest gantry in the Netherlands.
