At M.J. van Riel we think it’s important to come up with a suitable solution for every project or job. We go to the utmost for our clients, even if that means literally jumping into the deep end. This was demonstrated last week when we had to lift an 84-tons floating port office onto dry land using our 700-tonnes mobile telescopic crane. Because the location was in the middle of a campsite, we created a suitable route via the adjacent meadow, to minimize disruption.
In addition to reaching the destination, a suitable solution had to be found for the hoisting straps. The harbor office was located in the water. That is why we used a diver to pick up the slings. A creative solution to get the job done. After all, at M.J. van Riel we arrange everything from A to Z.
