M.J. van Riel B.V. takes over all activities of Martens Transport Oosterhout B.V.

M.J. van Riel is delighted to announce that it reached an agreement on Friday 12th december 2025 to acquire all Martens Transport activities. This strategic step marks a significant expansion of the organization and strengthens M.J. van Riel’s position in the transport and logistics sector.

Martens Transport becomes Martens Industrial Movements

Martens Transport seamlessly aligns with M.J. van Riel’s vision and structure and will become the company’s fifth location, following Tilburg (headquarters), Moerdijk, Oss, and Eindhoven. The Oosterhout location will remain, where the company will continue its operations under the name Martens Industrial Movements. This name will be retained to preserve the rich history—Martens has existed for over 100 years—and the Martens Transport brand identity. We will also expand our crane operations and industrial relocations to the Oosterhout location. This will further strengthen M.J. van Riel’s position in North Brabant.

Acquisition of assets, customers, and staff

With this acquisition, M.J. van Riel will acquire all assets and customers of Martens Transport. Business continuity is assured, and Martens Transport employees will be integrated into the M.J. van Riel organization. This strengthens the successful partnership and the high level of service for existing customers.
