Project completed in a short period of time
Within just eight days, we transported 68 residential modules, each weighing 30 tonnes, from Breda to Geertruidenberg. These modules were then loaded onto a 110-metre barge and sailed towards Zaandam.
Once we arrived in Zaandam, we loaded the residential modules, using a 450-tonne telescopic crane, onto a self-propelled platform trailer and transported them through a residential area, to their final destination.
Arriving at the final destination, a 500-tonne telescopic crane was ready to place the residential modules on the foundation.
Total package
We provided an all-encompassing total package for our client, starting with loading at the factory in Breda, transport by road and water, the required traffic measures in Zaandam and then accurate placement on the foundation in the middle of a residential area.
The second part of this project
Construction of the first four residential blocks, comprising a total of 34 homes, has been successfully completed. In total, we are providing the installation of 96 homes, which will soon bring the Rosmolen neighbourhood in Zaandam to full life.
