M.J. van Riel recently completed a unique lifting and transport project for a leading client: the careful relocation of two impressive storage tanks, each with a diameter of 11 meters, a height of 14 meters, and a weight of 43 tons. Using a combination of our specialized trailers, lifting equipment, and expert craftsmanship, the entire process, from internal transport to loading onto a pontoon, was completed safely and efficiently.
Last week, M.J. Van Riel carried out a special project in Son. Using two 700-tonne telescopic cranes and our SPMT, we unloaded, moved and finally positioned a drum weighing no less than 160 tonnes. The project took two days and required extreme precision and teamwork.
At MJ van Riel, we continue to innovate in special transport and heavy haulage. Our latest investment is a MAN truck with a Janssen Hydrive self-propelled system. Thanks to this technology, the truck can be remotely controlled, ideal for moving road plates and dragline mats safely and efficiently.
